The eye-watering bonus football star Neymar is to receive from Paris Saint-Germain if he wins the Ballon d’Or has been revealed. Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly pay the Brazilian attacker a huge bonus if he wins the Ballon d’Or in December.
The 25-year-old player who became the world’s most expensive player after PSG £199million record signing from Barcelona, is on the 30-man shortlist to land the prize.
According to French outlet Le Parisien , Neymar will pocket €3million (£2.6m), should he beat out the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi to the prize. The bonus equates to a whole month’s net pay for Neymar.
Neymar came third in voting the award in 2015, behind Messi and Ronaldo who between them have won the trophy every year since Kaka claimed the prize in 2007.
The Brazilian forward left Barcelona for the French club in the summer and has been in an impressive form for Unai Emery’s side, scoring eight goals and notching seven assists in his first nine games.
